Simone Spiegel is editor-in-chief and director of design production at Thinkin Educational Services. She is a passionate optimist and divergent thinker with a deep understanding of human narrative and a strong focus on the power of communication and artistic expression. She plays with language and ideas to bring people together in meaningful ways. In addition to degrees in Education, Graphic Design and English Literature, Simone has extensive experience working with individuals and committees in the Toronto Jewish community. Her goal is to leverage the power of positive thinking to set the stage for healthy living and learning.
Aviva Fudem is chief experience officer and director of product development at Thinkin Educational Services. She is a passionate educator and Thinkshop leader with a deep understanding of human motivation and a strong focus on learning through autonomy, engagement, and connection. Aviva develops joyful learning opportunities that blend multiple theories with practice. In addition to a masters degree in Child Study and Education from the Institute of Child Study at U of T, and an honours degree in Political Science and Economics from Western University, Aviva has extensive experience with mental health support and mindful parenting. Her goal is to help children, families, and educators continuously evolve and work together to build connected communities.
Full Speed Ahead: Closing Remarks
Adam Minsky is the President and CEO of UJA Federation of Greater Toronto. He is a 46-year-old leader who is a product of the Canadian Jewish Federation movement. Adam’s leadership extends well past Toronto’s borders, as he played an integral role in the founding of many important national initiatives including the creation of the Canada Israel Experience and its Birthright Israel programs. For more than a decade, Adam has dedicated himself to strengthening the strategic impact of UJA Federation through its network of local, national and international agencies. Most recently, Adam led the development of UJA Federation’s Strategic Plan, which outlines an exciting vision for the future of UJA Federation. In 2013, Adam was honoured to receive the Gordon Wolfe Award for Professional Leadership in recognition of his ability to lead with vision, integrity, Jewish values and humility.
